![]() ![]() How pretentious, snobbish And ugly can u be. Hitting balls on the range was not allowed unless you were playing? Huh? In 30 years traveling to the best golf resorts in the world have I never heard of such a policy. My son and I were thrown off the golf course while there was an outing going on for practicing. My son was playing at an ajga tournament down the mountain so we needed a second place to play and practice. I paid for the higher end access $150 per person (2 adults 4 kids) so we can “have access” to the golf course. i wouldn't come back to moonlight to stay, however the skiing was second to none. little kids were running around during dinner as well and we thought that was ridiculous enough. aside from the expensive fee for just accessing the lodge, the lunch buffet was severely disappointing and $30 a person! while the hotel hot tub was also broken. we also weren't allowed it seemed quite clear the culture of this resort is meant for a membership and we felt as though we did not belong because of this circumstance. ![]() we had some very weird encounters with a very manic man named mike in the resaurant when asking if we were members. nikki had insider tips for skiing the moonlight mountain as well and mapped them out for us during our lunch. we had some great service from kensey and nikki. moonlight's whiskey list was the best in the area. ![]() we enjoyed beverages at the bar- were pleased with the young guy seba and the friendly bearded guy, ethan. they pointed us in the right direction for shuttles, reservations, and the layout of the lodge. we were delighted with our interactions with justin and randall at member services. We stayed at moonlight basin over president's day weekend- my family and i paid the outrageous guest access fees as well. ![]()
